Unauthorized way of charging travelling fare in Thane District

It is to bring it to your notice that in thane district especially beyond Thane city there is no standard rate or measure of charges on Auto rickshaw fares & eventually they land up charging as much as 3 times of regular meter fare in Mumbai & when informed the local available authorities i was told that its the states Road Transport Authority who is responsible on it by no making meter fare as compulsion well it makes me feel sad that why there is no reason to such known mistakes if its by the RTO authority.

Well it would be highly appreciated to bring it to right authorities notice about this issue which the entire district is facing along with take appropriate actions on local RTO & Police officers who encourage this wrong practice by not supporting to commuters instead they take a side of Auto rickshaw drivers & allow them to go on charging as much money as they want..
