Subj: Application for Fresh Passport for Minor Daughter - Natasha D’Souza

I had applied for fresh passport in favour of my minor daughter Natasha D’Souza on 22nd February vide your office file No J 002287.

In this connection I have also completed the local Police Clearance which took one and half month with the papers in the police station.

I have now received a letter from your office asking for an adoption deed & to visit PRO in this regard. I have submitted all my original documents and all have been cleared with the police clearance. She is my daughter and I dont understand why do you require an adoption deed. In our catholic community we do not have an adoption procedure at all. so where will I go to get an adoption deed.

Kindly look into this matter and grant my child passport at an early date.
