Bajaj XCD 125 Silencer producing an irritating noise

Hi,

I bought a Bajaj XCD 125 bike from Gems Bajaj, Viman Nagar (which is now shifted to Hadapsar) on 18/Nov.

The silencer is now producing an irritating sound. I went to several authorised Service Centres but no one was ready to take the ownership and suggested me togo back to the dealer from where I bought the vehicle.By the time I discovered that Viman Nagar branch of Gems has been shifted to Hadapsar warranty was lapsed.

Priyanka Automobiles (Kalewadi Phata) suggested me that Silencer is to be changed and to contact Mr. Ghodke at Gems, Chinchwad. I went there but Mr Godke is saying that warranty has lapsed and he cannot commit that problem can be resolved aqnd covered under warranty.

Service Engineers have also told me that it is a common problem with XCD 125 bike. If it is manufacturing fault then compant should get the silencer replaced.

Please tell me what to do now in this situation and what is my fault if original showroom is permanently closed.
