Sir,

This is regarding the cleanliness and security of Bandra Terminus. Today i visited the station that is on Bandra (E), and to be very honest this is the worst station i have ever seen in my life. I am a resident of Mumbai for the past 22 years. First of all the approach road to the Terminus are just horrible. The roads are bad, way beyond imagination. Garbage is strewn all over the place, also there is so much stink.

May be this is not railways problem but the one which i am going to mention is seriously a Western Railways problem.

Security!!! I was surprised to see the metal detectors installed with railway police men out there. But as i was passing through the metal detectors not a single security personal stopped me as the metal detector was giving a beep sound and was showing STOP sign in RED. This was happening for all the passengers as everyone will be carrying mobile phones and the keys of their luggage. Just imagine, person carrying something else other than mobile and keys.

Given the recent security situation in India this is unacceptable. The innocent lives of our country men are at risk.

Hope the railways does something about this. The Bandra Terminus station i have mentioned is of the Outbound trains.
