Bank- fixed deposits
TDS DEDUCTED TOUGH FORM 15 G SUBMITTED

Sir/Madam,

I had fixed depost with Bank. I had submitted form 15 g on 27/06 and have acknowledgement with me of that, Fd was matured on 29/10. Bank has deducted TDS of Rs. 1385/- On check bank is saying tds is deducted on accrued interest from period 01/04 to 27/06.

Is the action of bank correct?
