I, Mrs. Aquina Kshatriya (w/o late Mr. Vijay Kshatriya) who has a pension account in the bank since 1990, lost my husband on 12th Feb'07. I had contacted the bank to notify about my husband's death and to request to start the family pension. I had to run around from one table to another, was also asked to contact my husband's account office, which I did, where I was adviced that its the bank who should be helping me in this but the bank denied. The bank has stopped my husband's pension getting credited to his account and also had deducted some amount from MY bank account as some over payments in my husband's account. This means that they are aware of my husband's death but did not do anything to start my family pension. Now its been almost 3 years and I am still waiting for my pension to be started.
