Priority Circle Fees not applicable

I have been worngly issued a credit card statement for Rs 6741.60 against my card inspite of not even using it once.

Also as per the statement i have been charged a fee of Rs 6000 Service charges (Total Rs 6741.60) as Barclaycard Priority Circle Fee. I was told by their Tele-marketing executive that this membership is free and that there will be no hidden costs or charges.

The transaction date as mentioned is 29/10/08 and the statement date is 19/11/08. I have been sent an e-statement on 23/11/08.

Request you to kindly take up the matter with Barclay on a priority basis.
