Membership fee

Dear All

I got a call from customer care offering a lot of free deals on the credit card. I asked them whether any fees was levied on it to which the person replied no. He told me that I will get a confirmation call to which I will have to said OK thereafter I will be offered a bag on payment of Rs. 150.Now till date nothing has been received by me and the customer care keeps calling me to pay a membership fee Rs. 5000 for the offer. In this regard can somebody advise on the matter.
