Dear Sir,
I Vikas Mittal, Owner of Maruti Alto (Std) is a regular customer of Barkley auto (Maruti authorized dealer/workshop) at industrial area, Panchkula, Haryana.
On 04.04.08 I went to Barkley for regular checkup and washing. on 07.04.08, when I was in a remote area my car didn’t start in the morning at 5.00 AM as I have to come back at my office in Panchkula by 9.00am. At 9.00 AM I went to a car mechanic by covering a distance of about 4 km by foot. car mechanic after checking my car told that there is no battery water in battery hence the battery has discharged and damaged and even the coolant box is empty.
From the above it is clear that due to negligence of a worker at Barkley who didn't properly checked these things even at my request, i faced the consequences not only Physically as well as mentally because of my car battery has been damaged due to the negligence of a worker at Barkley. It is needless to mention that I am a mature person and know how to use the car efficiently (Battery Make-Exide, battery age- 3 years). I get my car serviced on time every time from Barkley, Panchkula.
Now is there any remedy for the above or should I just change the car battery from my own pocket.
