Bharat Cooking Gas Cylinder
Defective Cylinde

Dear sir,
As we all know, all the Cylinders must necessarily be ISI standard compliant. Still this time we got a defective Cylinder, which my wife could not fit in the Regulator.
When she called for a person from the distributor - Shri Gayatri Gas Agency, Vadodara, he just rubbed the knob of the Cylinder and forcefully fitted that cylinder into the Regulator.
That time my wife told him that there is smell of Gas, but he ignored and told that he is not feeling the same.
To-day I myself checked that and felt that there is smell of gas near the Cylinder.
My question is that when ISI mark is taken and granted, it is necessary to maintain the quality of the whole product according to that standard.
It should not be so that for just taking the ISI mark, only some of the products should be up to that standard and then rest of the production might be done carelessly without following the standard.
Further even if some cylinder is found defective, my recommendation is that the Distributor should take care of that carefully and replace the defective piece immediately, without showing any carelessness.
In our case the person, who came from the distributor, has shown such a carelessness just to avoid a little efforts from his side, which could cause a serious accident.
My dear sir, who would be responsible in case of such accident?
I have seen a lot of advertisements of Gas Safety Instructions in News Papers, TV, etc.
Are they just for publicity or really for implementation?
Please - it is my humble request to take care of such type of cases.
