I have one AIRTEL Liofetime validity mobile phone. It was found since last few days. That They are deducting Rs 10, 20 or 30 on regular basis for the service which i never had subscribed for. The sample SMS is as follows:
'YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO THE ON DEMAND SERVICE HAS BEEN RENEWED (30 RS, 30 DAYS, 30 MIN FREE.) CALL 543213.
On complaining to the customer care department, they told me that i had subscribed for this service. but Truly, it was not at all subscribed by me.
The airtel or its staff for their personal benefit are subscribing on behalf of the customer without his/her (customer's) knowledge and likewise they start deducting money from mobile.
I have another BSNL Excel prepaid phone and never had any kind of cheating by the BSNL.
I think all the private telephone operators are seeing their company going into dark due to reduced profit margin and thats why they have started this kind of cheating business.
Today after talking with customer care, I myself unsubscribed it. Now i hope, they will not deduct in future.
