Converting a post paid line to prepaid line which was reported stolen & deactivation submitted on 07.04.09

My Phone 9940064907 was stilen on 6th of Apr 09 & same day i lodged a police complaint.subsequently next day i.e. 07.04.09 morning I submitted a deactivation request to Airtel, Shastri Nagar, Adyar customer care centre for deactivation.

Inspite of that Airtel charged me for next two months for SMS service which I did not avail & also on their own they have converted the line to a prepaid one. I never requested for a prepaid conversion.

I feel harrassed & want them to correct their mistakes & pay back my money which they have taken on their own.

I have made several calls to customer care number but without result.
