50% layoff in Bharti TeleSoft MDevices with out any criteria

Bharti TeleSoft announced 50% layoff in MDevices Unit (Jataayu) telling "no specific criteria for the selection of employees" who are laid off. Company announced Actual notice period starts from April 10th to July. Some of the employees who are shocked about the announcement asked to releave them before the notice starts. But company refused to do so. and rejected compensation for those. It was actally torture, humiliation for those who are announced laidoff and are asked forcefully to continue for getting their compensation.
