Molested public roads

Bhavnagar public roads in such molested conditions that it deserves hardly mention. See the high court road, atabha to Rupani road, Shivaji circle area roads, road leading from Shivaji circle to Sheetalamma, of course Kalanala area too. Wherever you move in Bhavnagar, the roads are very very bad. Often in the potholes mud is filled when some function is there around. Overall, Bhavnagar road history continues to be pathetic. Why no MLA or counsellor is taking up the road issue I don't know. If at all roads are repaired, within a few days the road condition becomes worse as the patched material comes out. Rather, Bhavnagar public seems to be reconciled to the molested roads. The users suffer accidents, vehicle pincture, repair, consequent money erosion. If good roads there, this city could be an envy indeed. Never good reasphalting work is done. Whoever contractor does it, barely after a few months, the reasphalted road will be in worse condition, Poor material, bad workmanship all are contributing. I wish someone under RTI takes up this road issue. The concerned officials should go on a round trip of Bhavnagasr and survey the roads. I do feel fund is not a problem, but awarding to a good contractor who guarantees the work for 3 years is a prerequisite. Hope the Municipal Commissioner takes serious note of my complaint and as a Good Samaritan does the work which will earn him laurels and applause I am sure.
