Police verification report

I am Induvardhan, central govt employee applied for passport on 8/5/09. I had submiited Annexure-I to avoid police verification. I was told if I produce Annexure-I, I need not go through POLICE VERIFICATION procedure.

I found the status of my passport showing

Your police verification report has not been received by us yet. You may like to follow up with the concerned police autorities. If you need your passport urgently,

you have the option of applying under tatkaal, with a Verification Certificate (Annexure-F).

Why should I wait for police verification when I have submitted required document. I took so much pain to submit the document to avoid the POLICE VERIFICATION.

My sister had tough time in getting this completed, it almost took more than 2 months to finish this formalities.

Pl. ensure that I dont need to go through the same as I have produce the required document.
