The customer service and responsiveness of Big Bazaar leaves a lot to be desired. I had bought a Proton Metal Bed from Big Bazaar at Orchid City Centre, Mumbai in the last week of May'09. It has not been made functional till date since one leg was defective. For the past 3 weeks they have been promising to rectify the mistake but have not done so despite my 5 trips to chase it up. It seems they are just not equipped to handle customer grievances. The attitude of the salespersons is also totally nonchalant and they seem to suggest that one has to just sit back and wait for them to have mercy and attend to the problem. My advice to all - Only buy whatever is readily available off the shelves at Big Bazaar. For other items you need to depend on their customer service... which is non-existent!
