Dear Sir,

I am a policy holder of seven LIC policies. But Hazaribag Branch staff are not accepting cheques of 'Jharkhand Gramin Bank' which is sponsored by Bank of India, and is member of local clearing house.

Last time When I met to ADM, hazaribagh branch, they accepted my cheque any how. But this is not only my problem. The branch staff are regularly denying by saying that it is verbal order of Divisional Manager.

Jharkhand Gramin bank has 30 Branches in Hazaribag District, and a number of villagers are customer of this bank. A cheque is a negotiable instrument and no institution can deny local cheques, which may be cleared in a day or two.

Hence, We request to inquire into the matter and solve my problem.
