Non Credit of Renewal Premium

Ref Policy No. 000369013. I had paid my renewal premium (2nd) in the second policy year i.e. March. However the same was not credited to my policy account. Although i was delivered a receipt of the premium cheque that was deposited with the company. On contacting at the company's branch office and on its web-site, i was asked to send some information like a letter from clearing bank where i had an account and the cheque that i had issued got cleared. Although i submitted whatever was demanded from the company still there is no positive response as yet. I am really annoyed and had planned to file a civil suit against the company. Need help on this as its my hard earned money.
