No Hotel Reservation!!

I booked a suprise weekend away for my husbands 40th birthday in London. This was all paid for in May. Unfortunately... same old story as previous customers... when we arrived to check in at the hotel on 2nd october we were told our reservation had been cancelled. I had all the relevant paperwork but bookinhotels.com had not paid the hotel. Luckily the hotel did have enough room for us to stay but I then had to pay again on checking out. The price of the hotel was only £28 more expensive than bookinhotels so I had not saved that much money anyway. Luckily I had paid by credit card (on both occasions) and the security team are now dealing with my claim. If only I had done a bit more research... a lesson learned.!! To avoid disappointment on any holiday/hotel stay please do not use this company.
