Complaint regarding discontinuity of services to 9821005495

Sir/madame, I was on a 2 week visit to mumbai for official reasons. I purchased my bpl mobile (9821005495) from mobile store Belapur, Mumbai, on 27th October. I not being a local resident of mumbai, submitted my passport photocopy bearing my Kolkatta address, as an ID proof. (Passport no. - G1770722). I filled up the form as outstation customer and did not submit any local address proof of mumbai. The Services were discontinued on the 31st of october. I called up the cutomer care at 50555 on 31st and was asked to resubmit the documents indicating the proof of my local address and ID, following which the number will be activated within a period of 24 hrs. I informed him that i am not a local resident. Consequently i was asked to sumit the address proof of any of my friends or relative. I resubmitted the documents in the name of my relative Ms. Nandini Jain (ID PROOF -PAN CARD, PAN CARD NO. - AEAPJ3564L, ADDRESS PROOF - MTNL PHONE BILL, 0CT 2008). This was submited at BPL Gallery Vashi, Mumbai on 1st november. The connection was not renewed till monday evening. On calling up the customer care service, i was asked to visit the Vashi center of BPL gallery and reverify my documents. BPL gallery Vashi is 15 km from Belapur (my place of stay). The cutomer care agreed that the documents submitted by me were geniune but still refused to help until i reverify the documents. When i asked him to louge a complain indicating my inconvenience he refused to do so, and refused to give the number of the PRO, when i asked for it. I am being continuosly harrassed by BPL executives for my connection and im facing a lot of inconvenience as i'm nt able to contact my family members.'I'll be leaving mumbai on the 8th of november. The connection which cost me Rs.300 is still not activated. kindly look into the matter and take appropriate actions.
