BPL TEL. 9090
Poor customer service

I purchased a BPL telephone 9090 with caller id on 24 jan 08.the phone is not dialling any number.i even complained to the shopkeeper but he everytime ask me to press the star (*) button. Though the phone worked for few days but it is now creating the same problem.the phone set automatically start working for few hours but the condition is same.i think either it is a manufacturing defect or something else.the shopkeeper is even not ready to exchange the set .the phone set is worth rs 1150. kindly advise me what to do now.
