BPL Washing machine
Neglection of service Agency

Sir/Madam,

My name is Mathew. I am from Kottayam, Kerala. I have a BPL washing machine (model-ABS 50F).

It had a complaint and I reported it to your service centre at kottayam (BPL SERVICE, C.B Panickers complex, T.B Road, Kottayam) on last februvary.

After two weeks, one service Enginner (Sunu) came and he inspected the machine. He told some parts of the machine have to be replaced and I should bring the machine to their service centre at kottayam which is 27 km away from my house. And according to the service centres instruction on April I brought the machine to their office. The same service Engineer came and he replaced a part, resembles gear box and a P.C board. The replaced board was an old and used one from another machine.

The bill costs Rs 4387/-. Rs 2700/- for gear box and Rs 1000/- for board.and rest are tax and service charge.(Bill no-1946, dt 6/04/09).and Rs 500/- as transportation cost.

After one week of satisfactory performance the machine fails again and i reported to the service centre. After 1 week the same service Engineer came and he took away the P. C board telling that it is to be repaired. He informed that the part should sent to cochin office for reparing.

But he never came again and i enquered at the service centre and they are saying that, it should take two weeks more time. When i contacted the service Engineer he said that he was helpless and told me to make enquiry at the service centre. But service centre people are neglecting my complaint, and they informed they had sent the part to cochin and it didn't returned.

Now this is November and last 8 -10 months we struggled our life without the washing machine. I am very sorry to say that we are very much disappointed and your service is very poor and not satisfactory at all and I even lose faith in BPL products.

Even though i am not interested to move towards Customer court, but the situations are forcing me to do that.

Hope you will understand our feeling and do the necessary actions to solve my complaint as early as possible.
