Connectivity problem

I have broadband connection with my base phone No. 06572220850. From last few weeks I am not getting connection of yahoomail and some other important site. I am sure the server is not supporting the sites. But your helpline people at Jamshedpur is saying that it is the problem of my computor, If it so how other sites are being connected? Please help me in this matter.
