I bought a Brother Printer DCP 135C from Gurgaon's from Jumbo store in ambience mall. From day one I had problems with it. The box does NOT come with the USB cable required for printing!! It is stupid to sell you product without its accessories that are required for it. Its like selling a car without the tyres. This is just the begining, after i bought cable myself, I started printing pages. Withing 3-4 days one the cartridge out of four was empty. Within 1-2 days all my catridges were empty. I have used other printers earlier and my usage was not very much. Anyway, I dont have issue with the capacity of cartridge. The problem started when i wanted to contact the brother support/customer support. It was a shock to me when the customer care executive told me that he/she can't tell me where i can get the printers cartrigde!!! I mean what is support for? The executive gave me a number after a while but the number went unanswered! I wrote a mail regarding what i needed and to my surprise the email was also not answered!!! I had to write another soft mail to get some people to call me up. They assure me that my problem would be solved and someone would deliver it to house. Again no action. No one came. No info of any vendor told to me. Again I emailed... but no reply. Just an assurance on phone. I am writing after a week of this reply to this so that people do not buy brother.
The first mail was sent on 20th Sept 08 and till date (6th Nov 08) no one has taken ANY action!!!
I strongly suggest that they do not use brother printers as they have no way of tracking customer problems and they take no action on it. As for brother support, i thank them for letting people know that I have a made a mistake buying brother printer.
They should be awarded the worst customer support award.
People should ponder why I have take out so much time and written this.
