EXCESSIVE BILLING

This is in grievences with excessive billing from BSNL.

The Landline & Broadband registered on my father's name Lokesh - 26674847, usually was on a bill of 550 Rs. max amount. But suddenly in the month of December the billing was for about 2970 Rs. and the next of January of amount 1767 Rs. & the consecutive of February at Rs. 1070 something.

We had not paid the bill of December since we went out of station due to some emergency and the whole family was in Goa as my dad got transferred to that place. And now when we come back we receive so many bills & a notice also.

Here its understood if the December usage was more and hence it might have been charged. But again how could that be possible for all other months when there was zero usage done.

Its so embarassing that they bill it so much and now send the notice also stating we will have to pay the bill amount, and they would help us waiving the rental charges which would not be a huge concession at all.

Please somebody from the forum help us with what to do to sort this out.
