I have got installed BSNL broadband on my telephone No 0512-2403223. While I had submitted the application for broadband I have opted for "modem on rent" and Modem "Type II" which is wireless modem. The monthly rent for this type of modem is Rs. 90.

When installtion was done, Modem "Type I" which is not a wireless modem, was installed at my house, stating that the modem which I have opted i.e. "Wireless" is not in stock. This I had endorsed on the reciept given to the person who came to install the broadband. The monthly rent for this type of Modem "Type I" is Rs. 60 .

In my monthly bills, I am getting charged for the Modem type II, which has never been installed. When I have tried to contact the BSNL Krishna Nagar Kanpur exchange, they say as per their records the modem installed is "Type II".

I don't know what wrong practices are being done their on record modem is different than that physically installed? I smell strong corruption in this.

Since April I am paying the extra billing and it has never been corrected.

I request to the concerned persons to look into this case personally and get rid of this nexus.

This is causing me mental tension as well as financial burdon. I do not have spare time to run behind the BSNL offices daily in want of this, since I am a service class person serving a PSU at Kanpur.
