Landline not working

I have landline connection with broadband. My land line connection has not been working for about 1 year. Whenever I complaint the linemen comes and checkes the line and finds there is humming in the line. They tells me to make it alright in 2 days time. But it never repaired. Previously we were getting very faint calls with full of humming, but now that also has gone. The phone is almost dead. But we are getting internet connection without any problem. I am paying monthly rent for the line without any use. Kindly look into this as quick as possible. My telephone number is 24767250.
