Suspected Grey Call

I am the subscriber of the above telephone number. Today (10/10) at 6.51 pm, I received a call without caller id. The telephone ring was peculiar (neither local nor STD tone. Thereafter the telephone went dead. We registered a complaint at once with docket number J2936.

Smelling some foul play, we tried to call the said telephone number (24229148) from my mobile phone. To our astonishment somebody picked up the phone. i warned the that what they are doing is illegal and asked for their telephone number. They replied that it is only a BSNL number.

We kept on trying and on many occasions they picked the phone. If it were a genuine subscriber, he would definitely have got annoyed. But he was indifferent. We could hear clicking sounds and some other sounds which clearly indicated that some activity is going on in the line. We suspect some illegal activities related to grey calls.

As a resposible citizen of India, it is my paramount duty to bring to the notice of the authorities concerned, if my telephone is used for any activity which is detrimental to the interest of the nation.

Apart from that, my telephone may be misused thereby causing monetary loss to me.

I request you to intervene immedietly and book the culprits.
