My sim is not working

When i inserted the sim card in my phone the message shows `SIM CARD CRASHED` `SIM CARD ERROR` i did`t know what is the problem please tell the problem, I will cantact the c.care yesterday they says we did`t have a proper information on that type of problem, cantact the bsnl officeplease tell the problem. thanks
