SIM Blockage

I was using cellone prepaid connection no. 9418951204 which was purchased through Baddi-Himachal Pradesh Telephone exchange. Now during my transfer to another state I lost the sim. When I approached Nakashipara Police station-WB they refused to take FIR as I had no cash memo/bill of the sim. Now, what should I do to prevent misuse of the sim.
