Unwanted SMSs from 58888

During Dec 08 I suddenly started getting one joke per day and at modnight 12.30 am started getting thanks SMS from 58888. My Dec bill was carrying Rs 28 for receiving SMSs. After enquiry I found that the charges are for receiving Jokes everyday. I submitted a written complaint to BSNL for stopping this and refunding the money. It took 2 weeks to get the relief from Jokes. BSNL authority is claiming that I have subscribed for the Jokes on 9th Dec 08. But I am sure I have not subscribed for Jokes. As per me through this practice, 58888 and BSNL is earning huge money per month. Request concerned authority to take action to stop this kind of practice and refund the money they have charged.
