Late payment fee and interest chargess

In the month of sep.2008 i have used card Rs. 3700/- I have got a barclays credit card ststement which payment due date was 25th I was made the payment by cash Rs.3700 on the day of 25th Recelpt No. C 99755 at your collection office in indore RMS CREDIT COLUTION PVT.LTD Address 204 industry house 15 A.b Road.then i recd statment month of october the cash payment recd date was 30th sep and late payment charge Rs.500, Debit Interest Rs.304.62 I was shocked how can possible is this so plz and do needful for me... manish sinnarka
