I gave my car for servicing to Capital Honda in Chennai three times already in 2009. The majpr problem I had asked to be fixed was that the car alarm goes off on ts own at any time and the automatic or keyless entry does not work sometimes. The car was sent to the service station and was handled by Johnson who has been unable to fix the problem and has neither been able to offer a solution. A few days later a customer service person called me and asked me if I was happy with my car service. I categorically stated that the service was of poor quality and the one major issue that I had asked be fixed was not fixed.
I asked the service advisor to put me in touch with his manager, which he refused to do stating the manager was not available and that she would inform the concerned person.
This is not the first time I have received poor service from capital honda.
I think there is a lot going on behind the scenes at Capital Honda. I used to give my car to them because they were prompt in service and arranged for pickup/drop of the vehicle and hence very convenient. However, the current experiences seem to indicate that the actual servicing of the car is poor quality and they dont have competent technical staff to provide the right opinion and fix issues reasonably.
