Transfer of car ownership

I sold a car to a known person sometime back and registered the same on an affidavit but when I checked with the RTO, I realised that the car is still in my name. Despite reminders, the buyer has taken no steps to transfer the ownership. Request type of action, legal or otherwise I should take.
