I had a standard charterd credit card, the bank had promised to settle my account and on those assurance I kept making some payments over a period of time. Since I got only false promises to settle the account I stopped making payments completly. After this every 3- 6 months I would get calls from the bank to make a final payment of a huge figure. Although some times we agreed on a figure but then the bank would stop calling, this went on for a few years. Now the bank has done a full & final settelment and the amount has been paid. However my name figures in the negative CBIL report (loan written off). Is there some way I could have my name removed.
