Charging my Credit card without my knowledge

Celebrity Fitness is a gym in JMD Regent arcade in Gurgaon. I joined there by paying Rs.5000 through my SBI card no xxxx1177.I went there for 1st month and due to my busy scedule could not go post that. One day I checked my card statement and to my surprise, I found a debit of their monthly fee on my card. I never gave any standing instructions nor anybody informed my about charging of my card.

When I contacted them, they said while joined, they got 3 papers signed and in one of these they have mentioned about charging the fee every month irrespective of my authorizing or not. I said I want to cancel it and to my horror, they said I will have to pay Rs.5000 as cancellation fee!

No one informed me about it and this is sheer cheating. Now I am left with no option than to pay this amount for this month and then get my card cancelled which is not what I wanted and I never availed of these services for which I was charged.
