Have moved my luggage

Luggage moved with packers on 29th April from chennai to gurgaon.

1) At the last minute am told that it cannot go in a container as the container is not allowed in city limits. Says he will keep the luggage outside the house and load at night. This inspite of being adviced that we have a flight in the afternoon of 29th a month in advance. So have to move it in sharing load.

2) Was committed it will reach Delhi on 6th-7th for sharing and 5th for container. Payment was to be made by credit card in delhi. When i went for payment Mr Anil Sharma demands Rs 5000 more for credit card payments. Says thats a company policy and in case of disconnect speak to the person in chennai Mr Rakesh.

Mr Rakesh says speak to Mr Anil-he is the owner only he can take a decision. Made cash payment to avoid the complications.

Luggage did not leave chennai till 4th (as per rakesh from Chennai). Reached Delhi only on 15th in shambles.

Compulsorily had to live in a Guest house for 9 days with no response from the packers. No carpenter sent and wall unit centre table remains in dismantled condition. After 50 calls and 6 mails still no response. Luggage scraped/torn and crockery broken.

Car given for transfer. Was told to keep 10 litres at least. Given with full tank of 43 litres. Arrives on 17th empty tank. To date empty promises given. No carpenter sent and breakage not acknowledged.

Had demanded insurance papers. The team volunteered to courier it. We refused saying it needs to come with the concerned person who will also look at the damage and compensdate for the damage. No response and no insurance papers received yet.

Absolutely abyssmal service.

And on top of it they behave as if they have done you a favour. "At least the luggage has reached" is the statement that the owner makes. Now even refuses to pick the phone and has assigned a manager on the job.

Please advice.
