Delay of passport

Sir,

i have applied for my passport to change of surname, sukhjit kaur to sukhjit kaur daffu, dated 12.03. my police verification has been already done, but dated 23.04.2008 i received a letter from you side for submission of affidavit again, (my reference no. is D001777) which i have also sumitted again dated 24.04. but, after this, i am unable to see any further information regarding my passport, please do ugent as i am going to appear in ILETS exam,

please do my favour as soon as possible,
