Passport and money stolen by travel agent

Sub: Complaint against Mr. Rajneesh Srivastva C/o M/s Check Inn India Hospitality, situated at 205, Vardhman Indraprasth Plaza for cheating & stealing of our 4 nos. of passports and money total amounting to Rs. 350000/-.

Sir,

We Sumeet Saraf, Manav Aggarwal & Vipin Gupta hereby complain that Mr. Rajneesh Srivastva who owned an travel agency at the above mentioned address was assigned to manage our international tour. We had given him total money amounting to 350000.00 (250000 Cash and 100000 cheque) and our six passports including our wives &, out of which two passports of Mr. Vipin Gupta & his wife Mrs. Sakshi Mangla were returned by him on 18.03.2009.

Yesterday, i.e. 19/03 we, came to know that the said person had done fraud with Vipin Gupta and his wife. His scheduled departure time was 08.55hrs at 19/03 (photocopy of ticket enclosed), but when he reached Indira Gandhi International Airport, yesterday morning and submitted his Air Ticket for check-in, at the counter, he got to know that his Air Tickets have been cancelled just a day before. Vipin Gupta, then tried to contact with the said person, on his mobile no. from the Airport, his mobile was switched off. He then tried the other contact nos. of his office and staff members, but he could not contact with any one, as all the numbers were either switched off or no reply. After his repeated efforts when could not contact with the said person, Vipin called us and informed about the complete incident, we got shocked with his information and rushed to his 205, Vardhman Indraprasth Plaza Delhi 110092 office.

On reaching the office, at the above mentioned address, we found that the office was locked. After inquiring with neighbour’s and other shops around we came to know that he had come to his office on the previous night in very late hours for some time. On talking to his Office’s landlord we got to know about of his residential address as C-48, Ground floor, Parasvnath Paradise, Mohan Nagar, and also provided us the copy of his election card (enclosed) which had another address i.e. 128/2, Govind Puri, Kalkaji. We rushed to his Mohan Nagar address which again was locked. After inquiring with the neighbour’s and Landlord there we came to know that he has not returned from his native place 116, Avas Vikas Colony, Aliganj, Lucknow.

Inspite of every effort to contact him, we were not able to reach either him or his staff.

We are enclosing herewith a list of his employees and their numbers.
