Dear sir,

I am using the Cheverolet Aveo I am facing some problem to the vehicle I bought the vehicle two & half years before while driving the car suddenly stop & the problem occured the explaination given by the company I am not agree with that can you help me by reading this whether how true is this please read the following & give me your opinion please

Dear Mr. Patil,

This is with reference to your verbal complain to GMI regarding the chamber crack of your Aveo bearing registration number MH12DE5929.

You had visited us on 6th March for further discussion regarding the

concern. Reiterating the conversation between you and our Service Manager,

Mr. Mandar Kamlapurkar, the clutch plate of the vehicle had burnt due to

overriding. Further due to driving and attempts to shift the gears in the

same clutch plate condition consequential damages to the gear box are caused

resulting into gear box damage.

As you are aware the clutch plate is a wear and tear part hence is not

covered under warranty also the vehicle has already covered approximate

80, 000 kms.

We had highlighted the case to GMI with all the figures and facts for

consideration under warranty, however have received a reply stating that the

damage is not a manufacturing defect but resulted as a consequence and the

vehicle is beyond the consideration of warranty hence repairs / replacement

of parts need to be carried out on chargeable basis.
