SALE OF EXPIRY DATE CHOCOLATES

I had purchased customised imported chocolate Baskets from Chocolate Hut vide their Cash/Credit Memo No. 068, Dated : 27/05 amounting to Rs. 35500/- for 100 Baskets to distribute as gifts to my family & friends.

After distributing the chocolates on 02/06, I was surprised to receive call from my family & friends that the chocolate distriuted by me were all beyond EXPIRY DATE as all the Baskets contained a label of Chocolate Hut stating as "Packed: OCT' 2008 & EXPIRY 6 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF PACKING". I was really upset about it as it has affected my Goodwill among people.

The same was bought to the notice of senior management of Chocolate Hut alongwith proof on 03/06 onwards several times over telephone and in person also. But the same has fallen on deaf ears.

So, I humbly reqest the authorities concerned to take severe action against companies like CHOCOLATE HUT who risk peoples health by doing such unlawful things.
