CREDIT BUREAU HISTORY

I had been applying for Credit Cards in certain banks (Standard Chartered Bank - more than twice, Deutche Bank, ICICI Bank) after getting calls through their agents. And after giving all the documents like copy of PAN card, Voter ID card etc. and filling up their forms I get a reply after about two weeks stating that

" we are unable to offer you a Credit Card at this point of time on account of the following reason:

-CIBIL / Credit Bureau history - Does not meet bank norms.

I am yet to know the reason for me not meeting the norms as stated above. When I ask (both verbally or in writing) the banks they politely avoid giving the reason.

To the best of my knowledge I have never defaulted any payment or done anything because of which I will have a history by which I will not meet the norms for getting Credit Cards which is otherwise so freely distributed by the banks. I am really surprised and I hope that I can get some justice through you.
