I had applied for the American Express Kingfisher Credit Card and my ref no. was 09159002436 00. My application has been rejected vide their letter dated June 18 on the grounds of negative credit history based on a Credit Information Report from Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited ('CIBIL').
A copy of the Credit Information Report with control number 39, 70, 32, 659 was attached to letter. As per the report, my credit scoring was 582 and scoring factors included the following -
1. One of more trades written off in the past 24 months
2. One or more trades with wilful default and written off status in the past 24 months
3. Too many tradelines 91 days delinquent in the past 6 months
4. Credit card balances are high in proportion to high credit amount
5. Low proportion of satisfactpry trades
6. Presense of a tradeline 91 days delinquent 7 to 12 months ago
7. Presense of a tradeline 91 days delinquent 13 or more months ago
The report further gives details of the different accounts without disclosing the identity of the bankers/account nos.
To my knowledge, I have not been a party to the above defaults and would like to get these defaults cleared at the earliest. I need complete details of the above defaults and the process to get these resolved so that my credit history is cleaned up for any future transactions.
