Credit Card

I was using a credit card issued by TIMESCARD through Citibank. The card was canceled as by Timesbank as they have now associated with Barclays bank.

Thereafter without any request or application from my side, Citibank sent me an Indianoil Card (5546 3796 6570 5008) which I have never used or activated till date. I have received several phone calls from citibank representatives and I have explained to them that I do not require the Petrol Card and also that I have not used the card on any occassion.

Inspite of the above facts, I am constantly being reminded of some overdue payment.

Now citibank has sent me a statement for some interest charge, late payment and service tax and have also threatened to damage my credit record by sending the details to the Credit Bureau IF I DO PAYMENT.

I will be obliged if Citibank is restrained from sending unwarranted credit cards and also not ask for payments for services not used by persons to whom such cards are issued.
