Cheqs return

Hi

My citi credit card no ending with 1000 I settled citibank last year and i closed hyderabad a/c and i got some of cheqs bounced..one agent came and i cleared some of cheqs by cash. After that i told executive there are one or two cheqs are pending..he told me that he will come back.he never turned back.after that i met an accident i am hospitalized.

now they came up with that they dont have cheqs ..they are asking to pay money without returning 2 cheqs..pls suggest me shall i pay with out taking cheqs..
