Citibank credit cards
Rude and Unprofessional behavio

Hi,

My name is Dipti John and I hold 2 credit cards silver and gold cards with citibank since 5 years due to the recession I was not able make pmt on my cards for 2 months but I always made sure that there is some sort of minimum payment sent on the card, as I am aware that it was my credit but I was really annoyed when there were unwanted charges getting applied on the cards. I had started the card with a credit limit of Rs 30, 000 but today my min pmt on the acct each month comes upto Rs 9500-10000 on one of the cards which are not acceptable. even after making regular pmt of Rs 3000-5000 each month bank had sent a representative to my parents house who abused and harassed my family members I am very disappointed with this kind of service provided by Citibank, I had tried calling the customer care and the billing dept but they were very unprofessional and rude they kept on disconnecting the line every time I explained my situation. I am looking to settle and close the account but nobody is interested in listening to a customer, I find it difficult to understand why the bank is not able understand that if they have excellent customer service they can grow there business after all its we who suggest our family, friends and relatives to be associate with the bank, but after my experience with Citibank I would never suggest anybody to get associated with citi bank.

I don’t know if this mail would make any difference to the bank if it does I would be really obliged.
