Citi Credit Card
Still gettting charges to a closed account

Miscellaneous

I closed my credit card account with CITI and the basters continued to charge thier affiliate CITI Indenity Monorting to the account. Three months after the account was closed I started recieveing collection calls. After many (I mean 20 or 30 calls) two to three a day. When I called the 800 number not only was mr cooper (the CSR) rude and un willing to let me talk to his supervisor. he had me sit on hold for 5 min. Once I got to a supervisor I asked her how a closed account can continue to recieve charges on the card? She told me that the Indenity Monorting service was for mor then just the CITI card and that I would have to have them close the IM account and issue a credit. I asked the supervisor that after I closed the account and try to use the card would they accept the charges and she stated no. So I then asked if I had a autoe bill to the account from say Time Warrner would they accept the charges and again she said know. So I said that if its an affiliate and a charge is made to a closed account then the charge is accepted. The Supervisor then stated that its becasue the serve was for more then just the card. Which I pointed out so was the time Warner charge. She didn't say anything other then you have to call the IM and get them to issue a credit. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!! They talk out of both side of thier mouth. What ever you do don't do any business with CITI!!!
