I am not satisfied with citibank home loan department

Sir / Madam,

This letter is been written to you for help request. I m Mr. Kanayalal a INDIAN citizen from Baroda. I got a loan from Citibank home loan department in the year 2004. Loan was of Rs. 401000/- with monthly EMI of Rs. 6973/- for 84 months with the condition of interest rate was floating at rate of 11.25%. Latter market interest rate went up so bank started increasing interest rate by 0.5 % with 6 months of loan taken. After that bank went on increasing interest rate by some percent and in this way rate reached 17.75% within 3 years period time. There is big difference between this both rate 11.25-17.75. I did compare the rate with other banks such as B.O.B., S.B.I., I.C.I.C.I.& H.D.F.C. but none other bank has inceresed interest rate by so much percent. When I requested bank for decreseing interest rate bank informed me to pay 2 percent on outstanding for making the process work. This is wrong. It means once customer has received the loan he has to pay the loan at bigger interest rate which is higher from the market rate. So I need your help to look in the matter and ask Citibank to revise my interest rate as per the market rate. This is one type of legal thief done by Citibank.
