Dear Sir,

Sub: Finger Marking of a VOTER

Today we both voted in Bangalore North constituency – R T Nagar and witnessed a very prompt and efficient conduction of polling of this 2009 LOK SABHA ELECTIONS.

OBSERVATION

We found three persons verifying voter’s authenticity before casting their votes, the third person was finger marking with INDELIBLE INK BEFORE CASTING VOTE in EVM.

We request and suggest ECI to kindly instruct to change the procedure of third person to mark the finger of a voter after casting of the VOTE in EVM. The reason being person may collapse or even die or may even go away without casting his/her vote at the EVM.

Please change the procedure in the coming three phases of ELECTIONS.

Thanking you,
