City Bank
Credit Card Online Appln

I have applied for a City bank credit card online and got a application number, which is of 5 digits?!! When I called up the city bank customer care, they asked me to type the application Id, they said my 5 digit number is invalid? I checked for the status online. The site again said the application number is invalid. From this forum I saw that it is a 12 digit number!!

Am I fooled by a fake site? Is this email Id, CitibankOnline@citicorp.com which I received the acknowledgement from is a genuine one?

Is the following site where I applied for my card is genuine?
